sp 1200 tapedrums

does anywon want some sp1200 drums I got from adru, only i sampled them to hifi tape. tons of kicks and snares

here they are, i added dolby limiter and then a light hiss reduction, it does effect the quality but the hiss was to much, it adds some natural tape reverb, these are raw and recorded fairly low, so they need to be boosted significantly.

Huge thanks for uploading these, good job on the recording - the high noise floor adds a lot of character to them when you boost the fuck out of em then chop em.

they do not sound as good as i invisioned, but they all kinda sounded weird in the first place, kind of like a sharp artifact sound that was unplesant, i thought the tape would warm it up a bit they still sound not right, i wont re tape this pack i Will find some other stuff next.

i think I had crome2 metal switched on by accident, it might have affected the sound somehow, also i think It records more clean and less hissy when i cover up the recording roles on the tape completly when i just bunch some paper in the holes it sounds hissy.
