It's a very different way of working. Very destructive, as in if you copy from track 2 to track 1, what you had on track 1 is now gone forever. Also there are the sequencers but once you record to tape so it's not midi you can't go back and edit the patch or sequence. I really like this about the unit, different workflow flexes the mind. The built in drum sounds are surprisingly really good. I creating sounds then bouncing them to the samplers for manipulation. When you sample in drum mode it automatically slices up your audio across the keys, you then go in and fine tune. This is awesome! I could go on and on, it's really brilliant and surpasses the hype.
