I'm in Brooklyn and am always working on music & sound.
The nature of my employment ($$$) so I can pay the rip-off rents & rates here- I make plans with the best intentions, but if a money-making opportunity came up I would have to (by law) cancel some 'meet up' type plans. That concert on the 21st so far looks good though. Business !!!
Also: Mondays is open mic around the city a lot, so if you are slick you can scope out & do a demo or whatever on Monday night somewhere.
I'm personally allergic to 911 conspiracy wackos, so I'd rather smoke crack than spend a second with an Alex Jones disciple in my own city FYI- but if there are some smart SP users I'd be down to conspire to meet up & say "hey"

I always day dream about this, but with the other Toronto SP members. Go digging and then get some food lol. I thought since everyone is kind of low key they might not be into it, but it would be so much fun.

I'd like to visit Toronto. You guys have a dope music scene (via Crystal Castles, among others...) How do you like it up there?

It's nice, but I would like to move. I don't really like the winter. I just went to Muskoka (cottage country) for the weekend and I'm actually considering a more rural place to live in the future. There is something about summer nights in the city that I wouldn't be able to let go of though. Oh and autumn in the city.

^^It's true lol. When we were driving home I was like "what do you think the records are like out here". I started making up country songs and singing in some yodelling type of voice lol. We have country areas right outside of the city here and my man's business is located in the city so we would still be in and out and I could dig then. But IDK, I don't really want to live in this province anymore. I could do BC, but I want somewhere that is hot all the time. Where the coldest it gets is like... how it is during autumn. I have island blood in my veins lol. I don't know what possessed my mother and told her to make a family in these conditions.

I think we should do one big SP uStream vid chat soon..being that we as a unit are world wide.. that way no one is excluded.. we could have some discussion..talk collabs..exchnge tips..shoot the shits..and then formulate smaller meet up groups from there...
