sp 404 sx card issues pls help

My card will no longer take samples from my comp. It actualy crashes my comp during the copying stage and i have to force restart it as the task manager wont even show once this happens. I have tried everything in my power to get it to work, i'e reinstall the wav converter, format the card etc. can enyone help?

Is it possible for you to get a new card - you know - before you go postal?

Just kidding. But seriously, can you borrow a card, or get a smaller one to find out if your card is the problem?

Problem solved.
I put the card into my girls laptop (a german one) and it asked if i wanted to repair it which mine (a british one) didn't ask.

Was just looking for a quick fix before i buy a new card as iv only had the 404sx from new for about a month and didnt think a card would die that quick.

The post was also written in the midst of spending 3 hours on this issue so excuse the postalness.
