Sorry the dumb question, its that i haven't even bought the SP-404 yet, because i'm still debating whether to buy this or the MPC500 (this will be my first time ever buying a sampler).

Well , my question was , how do you transfer a beat you made on the 404 to your computer?

and this is to people who have used an MPC500, what do you think is better, the 404 or 500?

i usually record out from the rca outs on the 404.

on both machines you have to track your beat out. That means that you record the output of the machine in the computer or on some other medium.

between those two you should go for the 404.

u should wait for the mpc125, it should almost be as good as the mpc60II.5???

yeh, get the 404! it's the best in that price range. then again the 500 is as much as sp-555(no batt.s tho).
