OMG...Samplewiz for iPad

Post by jetson »

10 bucks, and fucking sample heaven...in my opinion.

Go check it out. You can play through a sample with your finger, both forward and backwards, as wel as up and down for pitch...

I haven't dug in deep yet because I cam hardly believe what I'm seeing and hearing....

Gotta go play some more, will return with more thoughts.

Wowowowow!!!! $10 is fuckin cheap for what this has to offer. I just watched this video (http://youtu.be/irpj9HdkiH0) on it and that looks awesome. I wish I had an ipad... shitty part is the place I work gave them out to all the employee's as a christmas bonus a week before I started working there. I even worked there in the past! I deserve one! LOL =[

I'm sampling now, and this thing is fucking off the hook...

setting loop points on a section of a waveform allows you to put multiple fingers down anywhere on the waveform, and those sections will playback using the same length of the loop points...

still scratching the surface, but wow...

Some of you that really dig the dirty stuff will probably like the "granular" playback of samples. There's also a "modern" setting that seems to be smoother, and only affects pitch. The other setting is "classic", which speeds up the sample as you go up in pitch.

You can only record 10 second samples, so that's a limitation. Once you create a sample, you can sample a performance of that sample into a new sample, and then email the performance with Samplewiz settings, or just the audio.

I've only recorded my voice so far, so I'm going to feed it some drum loops to see how they sound and how much messing around I can do.
