I think I understand what you want, but you can set up a simple blog and link an the standard flash player to a public drop box holding all your songs. I dunno about a playlist, there's probably some flash player for that...

Also, its a temp website, but Mumu Player is really dope for sharing/playing music.

i have it sorted out, at first, i converted all my mp3s to m3u easily with a php script, i then made a playlist containing all of the m3u files, this worked however the playlist wasnt dynamic, today, i installed xcfp player, this player works reads xml playlists, i did not want to make a playlist so i found a php script that reads my directory and spits out a dynamic play list of whatever is in that folder, still having trouble shuffling it, but it works,

here is the php playlist script inside the mp3 direcetory, i pointed the player at the play list script.

Code: Select all

<? echo( "<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"UTF-8\" ?>" ) ?>
<playlist version="1" xmlns="http://xspf.org/ns/0/">
<title>unsatisfiedpoets</title>
<trackList>
<?
$dir = opendir( "." );
while ($file = readdir($dir)) {
if ( preg_match( "/[.]mp3$/i", $file ) ) {
?>
<track>
<location>http://path/to/audio/tracks/<? print($file) ?></location>
<annotation><? print( $file ) ?></annotation>
</track>
<? } } ?>
</trackList>
</playlist>
maybe someone can find this usefull
