These are all dope! Great tracks all across the board, I love all the different kinds of tracks but blav's really blew me away haha. Vote went to blavatsky.

Great submissions by all. I got a lot of strange looks from the people around me at the military base where I work while I was listening to everyone's tracks on my iPad 
Top props to gis, kel, flop, and blavatsky. My vote goes to flop for keepin things wonky.
Hope these get uploaded to the bandcamp site after the dust settles and I hope to get in the next battle. Peace out!
P.S. Anyone else really into chiptune music? Ever checked out Anamanaguchi or played the video game series bit.trip (bit.trip beat, core, runner, etc). The games are real simple but have really cool chiptune music as the basis of each of them. They're all available on the WiiWare marketplace for a few bucks each, and I think the first in the series, bit.trip beat, is in apple's app store

aight.. ive never really been on the nintendo beat tip but, i love playin those games n the only two systems in my house are nes n snes... that said, i decided to sit this one out n work on some other beats w/ my group etc.. this battle did give me some ideas for the open battle tho. i might have to make some nba jam or madden 93 shit! ANWAYS.....
Everyone had some interesting beats and it was cool to hear. Flop, Plex, rasko, blav all came widdit! the only thing i got say tho is the rasko beat started great but i still felt like i was waiting for it to drop n just BOOM (if that makes sense? also recorded too low), Blav awesome Dub shit n FlOp and Plex had that real video game feel.. in the end i had to vote for WaxInspector! STRAIGHT UP BANGER! props to all

Liked a lot of these.
Gis - you wouldn't know nes samples were used, used them uniquely, really moody stuff.
Kel - like a Sonic boss battle, in a haunted house, in the future.
Plexx - Nice drums/rolls. The melody also reminds me of something but icant quite remember.
Blav - I have no idea how you did this. Wow.
Had to go with Kel in the end, it was close though.

@TAHJ I'm in to chiptune stuff, but more so when its mixed with other effects/drums rather than straight gameboy/lsdj. Gonna check out that bit.trip stuff, looks crazy on youtube!
