Yea, the small keys aren't an issue for me either, but my fingers aren't thick at all.

I am part of the MicroKorg posse. There really are no tricks other than learning how to use the matrix properly & freaking it! and since you can battery power it you can sit in bed with it- watch TV with it, bring it outside, etc..
I have tried using the vocoder with an external line level signal with varying results- sometimes if you have a melody in your head its fun to use the mic vocoder into the SP, then you can dement it further so it's not even your voice anymore-
Have you seen the Miniak? Akai's answer to the Microkorg?

A goal very close to me is to have an entire rig that runs off batteries. ... Its very hard though to get the features you need in battery powered gear that doesn't take up too much space!hXc wrote:Yes I forgot Numark owned Alesis as well.
Still can't beat being battery powered though!
I have been eyeing the microkorg XL. . looks alot nicer IMO .. but then . .the MS2000R can be converted to be battery powered.. get 2x parts instead of 1. .and i like all those knobs
Samples.

word up niq, its really an accomplished hardware synth plus Im using it as my midi-controller too. One can create simply marvelous-dirty sounds with it, especially when adding the second timbre.
mk has been around for years now, so you all probably know that already
I always gotta be late in discovering these fantastic devices hehe
