No one can touch that sample. Not a bad effort I will say, but still hard to match god.

It's actually a good exercise to try and see how you would flip the same shit as your fav's. I read dilla would try and flip pete rock samples just as practice. That's dope that you have the Vinyl. Matching God a was little bit much lol, sorry about that man.

No big deal I actually used to do that alot wen I first started sampling..just practice...ya know..I'm actually looking at "moments in love" sample by the art of noise...sounds tempting ...I'll just make a beat and hide it...Bridge wrote:ChicagoSPecial wrote:Wasn't tryin to match god... Or you could release a compilation "ChicagoSPecial Flips The Standards" with your take a classic beats. I've thought of doing this, but it's a challenge when people are so attached to the "originals".(like me with that dilla joint haha)ChicagoSPecial wrote: No big deal I actually used to do that alot wen I first started sampling..just practice...ya know..I'm actually looking at "moments in love" sample by the art of noise...sounds tempting ...I'll just make a beat and hide it...

^^^^^^That's a crazy idea...
I love it...but one would have tough time gettin away from the comparisons as u said...so it'd have to be a real creative flip!
