Haha, I used to like this video as a kid. I think the wicked witch is this model from Toronto lol. I went to see De la last summer and I remember when we parked we could hear this all the way from where the concert was. We were rapping all the way to the place. I even got to give Trugoy a hand painted copy of my Steaks 'n Pie remix track. I wonder if he even listened to it. I think Prince Paul produced this beat though, not Dilla.

Re: oooooooooooooooooo
yea this shit is so dope,the beat is amazing,was definitely ahead of the times a little with the quick chops and shit,prince paul is one of the illest...and i've always loved de la's laid back but kinda cocky style,and the way their rhyme patterns just swerve all over the place.and when redman comes in,its crazy...u notice chapelles little performance?to me it seems he was trying to refference the fact he thought certain people would laugh at his shit for the wrong reasons-seems he was kinda shucking and jiving a little on purpose-and you can tell how everybodys fake laughing..kinda subtle,but i think thats what he personally was trying to get at,and de la thought it was a good idea.... i wouldn't think that its very common occurance for a girl to give him a hand painted renix she did herself,lol-willing to bet he probably listened to it..of course if u gave him some contact info like email or anything it would be nice if he woulda got back to you and say thanks,or that he dug it.i hate it when that happens when you give some one wellknown your music.espescially when u give brother ali your cd and he bites it on his next album,lol..but thats another story.

Re: oooooooooooooooooo
Great song and vid. I thought Plug One said that Rockwilder did the beat in his verse.
Re: oooooooooooooooooo
thats what i thought too,but it doesn't sound like rockwilder shit does it?i'm not fammiliar w/ too much of his work though-at least not that i know of,i.e. i'm sure theres joints of his i like but never knew who produced it
Re: oooooooooooooooooo
Well, lets just settle this with some googling lol.
This is what I got;
"Oooh." is the first single from De La Soul's fifth album, Art Official Intelligence: Mosaic Thump, released in 2000. The song was produced by their longtime collaborator, Prince Paul, after a seven year hiatus, and featured a guest appearance from Redman. The album version of the song features a verse at the end by Pharoahe Monch, although he goes uncredited.
Producer Prince Paul, Kovas, Maseo
I thought it was Rockwilder too but someone told me it was Prince Paul. I was saying Prince Paul and De La made such a good combo and they mentioned this track.
