 Post subject: How To Export Patterns onto Computer!!

Im trying to get my Patterns to play but, its saved under a BIN. File. I was wondering how could I Export as an audio file?

First time trying to put something from the memory card onto the computer.

you can exchange sequence information to and from your computer but in order to actually hear it you gotta record it to tape/computer as a sound file. Hopefully that is what you mean.

you have to haxor your stuff to make your computer read a bin file.

recording in via the mic in on your computer = pattern to computer.

record your pattern to a tape deck. then sample your pattern on the tape to a pad on the 404.. then export that sample to the memory card (there is a command for it) drag the file off the card and onto your computer.

Well I guess an easier way to ask my question would be.
How do you get patterns from the sp404sx onto your computer? If you cant, then what do you guys normally use?

your question was answered, you need to record the audio output to something, either straight into your computer through a line in of some sort, or to something like a digital or cassette recorder, or another sampler, and then you can sample it back onto a pad on the sp and export that to a wav file on your card
