"..Now i hate kanye west..."- nah..lol-i actually ended up rooting for the heat tonight..with the series at 3-1 there was just no possible way the bulls coulda won the series,i just wanted to see it get over with and move on to the finals. Not that i was rooting for the bulls-or anyone in a real way for that matter,i just really wanted to see the thunder win.This should be an extremely interesting and exciting finals though-both the mavs and the heat are on fire--hate to say it sin but i think the mavs experience combined with their talent,and dirk frankenstein playing at such an unbelievable level is gonna put the mavs on top. Of course,again-at this point all i really do for the most part is watch highlights and try to convince myself i still know what the fuck i'm talking about,lol.My playing days ended real bitterly,so ever since then basketball just hasn't been the same. I'm really gonna try and watch most of this series though,relax and just enjoy it-should be dope.

Word...when did you stop playing? I still play all the time...I was/am a pretty good player. I played a year in junior college but I was losing the passion - couldn't see getting a shittier education just so I could play basketball - so I gave it up and transferred to University of Florida, where I promptly flunked out and wound up at Florida State but thas another story..back to topic

The Mavs are deep but that's what people thought about the Bulls - altho the Mavs are def better, but the Heat didn't have much trouble with Chicago as we saw - and I think the Heat are getting better and better with each series. Miami should and prob will put LeBron on Dirk...not the whole game but def for stretches and in the 4th...Bron is maybe the only guy in the league that is athletic enough to bother his shot and strong enough to push Dirk around the way people used to...if they can take Dirk out of his rhythm, it'll be the same thing as this series when they basically neutralized Rose - pressure on the secondary players and they usually choke in big situations...I think it'll be Miami in 5 or 6 games.

I still play occasionally--it just kinda sucks cause it always brings back bad memories of the way high school ball ended for me-i had a real racist coach that didn't like black kids-and never let them play unless they were so unbelievably talented that he didn't have a choice. He never liked the fact that i hung out with so many black kids and didn't hang with the preppy white jock kids on the team. So when i started to get into trouble a little bit,and my grades started to slip some,he used it as an excuse to basically kick me off the team.But i was on the varsity squad as a sophmore at a 6-A school-just being a 5'10 140 pound shooting guard,lol..and was at the time considered one of the best shooting guards in the state in my class,was already getting looked at by a lot of juco coaches at summer basketball camps and shit. But yea-basketball was basically my life for a long time.I'll never stop playing completely though. That's dope you actually got to play a while in college,i always wondered what that coulda been like--shit,i still wonder what it woulda been like to be the go to guy as a senior in front of a packed gym,or play in a state tournament,(of course the squad i used to be on never made it to state-but as soon as that coach got fired finally-it started to become a regular thing for my old school to be a regular at state,and a contender)still have recurring dreams about the shit,lol...

u'r right about james guarding dirk-people don't talk much about his d-but he's a monster on the deffensive end,for real....i actually hope you're right-for some reason it bothers me that navinski's so good--like when he makes a dope play,and he gets that ugly ass napoloian dynomite look on hs face,haha...that shit's crazy-more power to him though,he's really an amazing player.I've never been a huge jason kidd fan-but still,dude is 38 and still going strong- a lot of cats from his day been retired-it would be pretty dope to see him get that ring. We shall see.......

yea the Bulls gonna be around for a while but they are at least 2 players short right now. Boozer was a terrible pick up I been saying that since they got him, he is so un-athletic for his position...typical regular season warrior type player that ain't really got the talent to get it done in the playoffs. I love D.Rose but unless they get another top 10 in the league caliber player it's gonna be tough, preferrably they could get a dominant post player to counteract Miami's strength on the perimeter. maybe they'll get Dwight Howard on some sleeper shit get rid of that bum Boozer

Yea the Heat won pretty easily as you prob seen by now...Heat were playing pretty terrible and out of rhythm and they still pulled away at the end...this series is gonna be brief

I was so fuckin pissed...throwing shit at the t.v....first time all playoffs I been that mad at them lol...they just totally gave it away, started celebrating like clowns when they were up 15 with 6:30 to go...this is the type of thing that can swing a series. They NEED game 3 now

i think free agents will consider the bulls top of they list now. they just gotta make d rose the highest paided on team. no way boozer should be.

and that game was crazy it might be de ja vu of what happened to the bulls. but they over celebrate things thats what i dislike about the heat. i wish they was humble about things. they need to take at least one game in dallas or its gonna be tough. dallas seem like a different team this year. wade and james will get theres regardless. i even thought the game was over then dallas literally turned on a switch. this maybe a great series i gotta tune in now

also thats dope u and @a.d. hoop i used to be a gym rat worked at a park for years and coached jr. nba 5-7 to 11 -13 yr old kids. havent hooped on the regular but i got a membership 24 hr fitness against. still got the jay but my dunkin days is over with. had an high ankle sprain and probably messed up some ligaments because it took 3 months to get back to normal.
