my bad, i was out for a long minute. this shit was hard to vote, all beats were dope. once again close, i went w/teewok.

count- ill bassline, hornstab & congos.
blav- atmospheric sounding rhodes & them lazy horns
hal- dreamy, nice vocals
blu-space the final frontier w/ george clinton at the wheel, them finger snaps like crack!
aD-dope sample, drumz bangin' w/ sleigh bells in the snow, good arrangement
dj mel- boo bap swing!
Re- i need to step up my game, shit is fuckin creative in here! listening to these tracks opens doors for me to be more creative.
Jak- cool vocals snippets & @:58 dope!
and-o- one of my fav kick & snare, squishy bassline & soo chilled.
IIIII- nice pouring rain intro, zero gravity on them rhodes, i see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Gotta give it up to Teewok and a.D. for the sickest flips. Both tracks were real ill.

Lots of crazy synth stuff going on. Blu had some crazy juice to his track... really diggin the vibe and looseness of the drums. Blavatsky came with some ridiculous drum work... and a really ill song composition... another major production. I ended up dropping my vote for halcyon_rave. That track felt really epic... especially that last part, where the synth takes off.

Great battle, and a lot of amazing tracks to listen to.

cool battle this time guys...I was out of town but probably would have voted for Blu, great vibe and finger snaps. A.D and Teewok as usual killing it too, and really every track had a good vibe.

Appreciate the votes and comments i got....although listening on headphones (I had mixed on monitors) I realized how much hiss/noise I let through in the recording and how loud the drums were..whoops, live and learn

so i realize i didn't get a vote which is totally fine, but the idea of only a six song mixtape seems a little, well, lame, i suppose. i realize my own skills need to come up, but i'm wondering if any of the other participants feel this way. i mean what happens if only two or three peoples get most the votes, even though their songs may be mindblowing, is that a good basis for choosing tracks for a mixtape if there are only gonna be a handful of songs? i just wanted to impart my opinion on this, and was wondering if anyone else had this thought as well. rock on everyone
