Thundercat has played bass heavily on FlyLo's newest album (he's in the MmmmHmmm video). He has also played bass on recordings for Bilal, Erykah Badu, Sa Ra, Shafiq Husayn. You heard the song "Window Seat" or "Get Money" by Erykah Badu? The bass stylings were provided by the man. The soundtrack to heaven features clouds with embedded subwoofers with 24-7 bass solos from Thundercat. I play bass and have a further appreciation and respect beyond just the fact it sounds dope as hell. He is the f*ckin man.

thundercats style of playing bass is beyond ill. and not to mention the way they eq that bass to stand out in the mix is incredible. i cant wait for that project to drop. i have been waiting for this since i got wind of it a few months ago.

and for a bonus, i did a little mix with a few tracks that he played bass on sprinkled in.

is there any albums with some bass solo work by this cat..apparently this song is a george duke remake? Regardless,it's mad beautiful- i like it when i see current artists that i can picture being sampled 30,40,50 years from now too...originally i was gonna post up a link to some robot chicken thunder cats skits,but this was too dope...
