Hadn't heard o the JX 10 up till now but it sounds like a beast. 12 voices! Man I think that's the way to go as well though the Juno 106 has exxxxxxcellent bass capabilities. It ranks amongst my favorite analog synths. Thing is hella warm and fuzzy. Only downside is I know synths of that JX 8P era were a bitch to program unless you can score one of the PG 800. They pop up on ebay fairly often.

hi
i got the juno 106, but i never tried the jx10.
the juno is heaven on heart, that's enough said.
i bought it to do some sort of boards of canada sound but soon after i discover its different capabilities: you can do also acid things and funky sort of...
great sound indeed.
6 poly.
a classic.

i had the jx-8 (1/2 a jx-10) for a while and though it sounded great it was big and HEAVY. so I had to let it go. It was great for pads but not as good for stabs or acid. it sounded very good though.
