Anyone else here like the modern Rap Battle scene? Stuff like Grind Time Now, KOTD, URL, Jumpoff.tv? Ive been a fan since around 2005 when the acapella format started taking over. I made this EP to show my love for Rap Battles.

This has got some good and interesting beats on it....as far as the "modern battle rap" acapella stuff-a vast majority of these dudes should be classified as comedians & not m.c.'s. I actually find some of these cats to be somewhat of an insult to hip hop and real m.c.'s that will always have the skills to battle,but take it way beyond that-and can actually spit their shit to beats,in time to a beat. At least you made some of them sound more hip hop,and it was a good and well executed concept...nice shit,peace

I definitely understand the criticism of certain battlers. Sometimes i like to refer to it as "rhyme battles" instead of "rap battles" since many arent really displaying Rap skills within battles. The focus now is really more on the punchlines.
