track is sounding jazzy and dreamy, the sounds are pristine and really well blended. its quality dope shit but i can never really get into the beats with real dragging grooves like this...ill shit nonetheless!

I think the "talk-box" you're hearing is just the overall grittiness of the drum track. It had a bass line mixed in with it at first... and I passed it through a bunch of things on the 404 until I got that dirty sound that worked just right... that's why the track "breathes" all of a sudden when the drum track stops here and there.

i meant the instrument that makes the "solo" along the whole track...a sort of wind instrument...
