are a group of friends/beat makers that consist of
Mole Cheek = The fat guy. A lover of 90s pop music which shows in his sample choice.
Dats Vetto = The token black guy(its okay im the one writing this
). Approaches beatmaking with a more traditional Hip Hop method. Mr.Latebloom = The smart guy. Delivers atmospheric/ambient vibes.
Lego Bumps = The one who thinks hes cool. Synth bass beats.
D-Spies Clone = Mr.Lateblooms little brother. Doesnt want to sound like the rest of us. (cool name bro...)
Our story is that we all grew up on the same street. When we got older we started producing music. The group had to split because 2 members went out of the city for college and 2 others moved away.
Recently we got together for the first time in months and decided we would finish a 2 track a piece album before the day was done. half the day was spent just gathering samples from eachothers houses. the other half was spent in My (dats vetto) garage playing playstation, smoking weed and making beats on a single SP-404SX. Our goal is to make an album every time we all get together.
This might not be the greatest stuff youve ever heard but one thing is for certain. Its from the heart. We finished the day with a blunt and put on our album reminiscing about past times.
