Damn, I gotta get down on this. Been a bit since I battled. Good thing I checked the arena. How much time is left?

I think Wed (tomorrow) will be the official 2 week measure that was originally mentioned. How long do you need? I don't see a problem with waiting another day or so.

Here, just threw this together. Don't got much time to make beats in the next few days so it is what it is....

Gameboy Color/Gameboy Camera, Roland MC307, Roland SP404, Akai MPC 1000

Vinyl: Flash Gordon, Alan Parsons Project: iRobot, Jean Michael Jarre: Les Chants Magnetiques

That was quick... dope beat too. I like the gameboy sounds. It all gels really well. Is the bass line from the 307?

Shit,lol-I had such bigger plans for this beat, just ran out of energy & time...was gonna have a change up & a bridge, some mutes & some drum varriation,& I was gonna add strings to the hook from another record-BUT looks like I'll have to maybe do all that for a beat tape,'cause I might wanna use this.possibly.

99.9% vinyl-played the bass from the 202. Got my kicks, hats, crash, and tamborines from 70's soul and jazz records, the snares from a mid-80's raggae record. Processed & sequenced the drums in the sampletrak, then put them back into the 404. Used 2 records for the musical samples-a mid- 80's synth record, and some mid-70's jazz/soul fusion.

All sp,st, & dr. 202,Everything was sequenced in the 404..then recorded into the br-900(not tracked out).

Respect to everyone involved, everything I've heard so far has been crazy, this'll definitely be interesting. :) Btw-if nothing else, please let me know how the bass levels sound on this-I'm working in a different room then I have been for a while, and the sound's all over the place,I'd appreciate it.Peace

Story of my life man - I see songs unfolding with layers and parts and variations but time constraints and work/life always come in the way , and i end up doing a "for now" mix usually.

Nice beat! I gotta update my vinyl collection, you guys obviously have some deep and dope sources.
