help fixing my new broken laptopp

so i got a new laptop on ebay its awesome, dual core 4 gigs of ram, blah blah blah, but theres a few things wrong with it why i got it really cheap. i can deal with the broken keyboard, but im worried about where you plug in the power cord its really lose, i looked inside and it is flopping around and doesnt look connected to anything, doesnt make much sense, should i open it up and hot glue it in place ?
