Pattern Playback and Pattern Recoring the same time

Hello Guys,

I'm a new user of SP404SX. I have bought it to have possibility create music on the way.

I'm also the user of Roland Groioveboxes and I used to use roland groovebox sequencers.

Pls let me know if its possible in SP404SX or maybe there is an unofficla SP404SX which can do following things.

1) I'de like to play already recorders pattern/patterns while recoring a new patern based on new samples

2)make loop recoring with erasing previous performance when the loop ends and starts again.

3) import invididual samples direclty from the card

3)rtm it's just loading a wav standard file on the card and then importing.
2)different machine really needed
1) i think i get what you are asking and if so it can be done on the og (not in real time) but don't think it's possible on the sx.
i take that back. you can play different sounds with the same pattern if you load the backup banks. no rerecording midi events though.
