Sample start and end point problem

Post by metronome »

Hi everyone!
This is my first post so I'd like to say hi to the Boss community.
I just got my 505 today. I'm having some problems and I'd like to ask you for help.
When I try to set sample start and end points I do everything according to the manual, that is: press the pad of the sample I want to edit, then press wave edit and f1 (loop), however after the last step my sampler freezes, the waveform does not appear and I can't even exit this mode - I have to shut down the sampler and load it again.
Am I getting something wrong or is the sampler broken?
Thanks for you help.

hi
it feels like some sort of "initializing related" problem...
try to reset memory, maybe.
ps
is your smartmedia card (if you use one) ok?

OK, it seems it was a software problem. All I had to do was update the OS. Reformatting the card and initializing factory settings didn't help. Update was OK for me since it was the first day, not much data to be lost:)
But thanks for advice, anyway!
Peace,
