Just wanted to let everyone know that there is an open challenge poppin off in the arena specifically aimed at crate digging, vinyl heads. The only guideline is that tracks need to include some direct vinyl sampling. Someone said that vinyl is dead... bullshit. Got me to wondering how many cats on here are still following the true school aesthetic of going out to your local record store, or other off-the-map digging spot, copping a handful of records, bringin em home, and flippin something for the occasion. It truly is a different experience from sitting in front of you computer and searching for different artists or genres to download... duh. Anyways... can't say enough in favor of supporting record shops, and coveting pre-digital-download-era media... but the main point is to drop into the arena and rep your steez in the open challenge: vinyl edition. Peace. 8)

Vinyl rules.

Mp3's really leave beats sounding docile and weak. Fact.

Good to hear from you elhau. Catch you in the arena homie!

Yeah... the coloring on a recording from vinyl is so different. There's such a wide range even going from one cartridge to another.
