@ Ella

to lurk means to kind of sit in the shadows and watch what is going on, but not make your presence known. creeping around observing but not participating

Barry Larkin was an american baseball player for the Cincinatti Reds, maybe duke is from Cincy

See, this kinda beats make me feel a bit dated sometimes :) .
Great groove, i would love a more distinctive synth line since the soundscape is just genius.
Big ups!

thanx for this critic, would you mind to explain it better to me? it's just one synth so i suppose that you refer to the only one, but what about the "soundscape" you say? it's always the same synth (if "soundscape" means this). i'm a bit confused.
please explain me , thanx.

Hey, man, I just wanted to say that the general "sound environment (-scape, whatever)" is very strong and well put together, you've got dirty drums banging and a technoish synth screaming over it, it's a tune that says something, I meant it in a good way for sure!
It's just that, since it's an instrumental, i'd rather hear some more melodic features in it, such as bass note changes or synth chords or whatever. It would sound great with an mc on it for sure.
As for the "dated" part, it's just that i'm more on the "traditional" beat making side, chopping samples, classic tempo/drums so it's like "damn, it'd be cool to just take it a bit further sometimes"...
Hope I made myself clear this time :)

thanx for the explaination, now for my limited english is way more clear.
the technoish synth is the tx81z, an old analog beast, a rack synth, sometimes -like the best synth do- you can end up with sort of strangest sounds with and other time you can do more "traditional" sounds...this time it's the turn of technoish :) but it was not intentional in the beginning!...

Finally got around to listening. Really nice beat. Love the synths. Those drums thump really nicely. Use of effects was nice. I got somewhat of a samiyam vibe listening to it. But less sample based.

Nice one :D

thanx Heat
this samiyam vide you said is searched by me, in fact this title is ironic (sort of "new mainstream" -lotus,samiyam etc)
thanx again man
