w00t! good vibes you got goin on here. First good shit I've heard from the MD actually. Looks like it was money well spent :) In my beatmaking dreams I've always wanted a pure elektron setup, but the bank account definitely says no.

overall some really ill sounds in this mix of joints. but...yo that 3rd track in the first lil mix, I think it's called Focus For The Moment...thats shit goes HARDDDDDD. props.

You got any plans for an emcee to get on that track? I hope so. That shit could be a problem. I could see a moshpit forming when the drums drop in on that joint.

Peace.

Yup the samples went through the 303 on vinyl sim on the way into the DAW before being transferred over to the Machinedrum !

Yes the UW (user-wave) version has a 12 bit sampler there is a very limited sample time on the mk1 version. MK 2 has a lot more time I think

peace

Haha thanks dude, this is an instrumental album so no plans for an MC,but there's no stopping anyone from doing a track to it after D/Ling it. It just better be dope and if it blows up I want in somehow haha.
Peace.

Thanks man! Really wanted to make some music to show people (and find out along the way) that this machine can do hip hop sample stuff.

Ah gear lust! I always see heads using the Elektron rigs for minimal techno and other boring ish like that, this is mega ill. I knew the MD could bump but this is a nice surprise. You looked at the Octatrack at all yet? I've got mixed feelings and really want to check one out but the £££ signs are too high for my pocket.

I thought the octatrack looked wack, but the more i see the more i want to try it. More interested in the DSI Tempest though.
