Importing Samples (HELP!)

im new to the 404 and i want to import songs onto the pads, but when i do the tempo gets all fucked up and the songs come out distorted...i tried to use the time/bpm sample edit but it didnt fix the pitch distortion. is there any way i can import songs onto the pads without them all getting fucked up?

How did you import them? I've never had that problem... Also, you can't change time/bpm of samples, only patterns.

i actually figured it out, i was importing it in the wrong bit rate...thanks though!
