Hey Sinapse, don't get too discouraged. Other beat tapes made here took a while to get together too.

To everyone else: you don't need to make some kind of grand statement with your beat. Remember we're all amateurs & hobbyists here. Not professionals. We're not aiming at releasing something of a commercial standard. As long as your beat's there, its there.

You're all capable of recording good music. How long does it take to make a beat? Not too long. This thread's been up long enough for most of you to at least start a track. Come on, no more excuses. Let's just get this done.

Haven't been on here in a long while, but after moving a couple weeks ago, I just got my new studio setup running smoothly. I had my first session in it last night and feel I have a pretty solid jam to show for it. I can record something tomorrow for upload/sharing.

2 questions... is tomorrow night too late to submit a track? and who should I send it to?

any of you who know my music or are fans would be happy to know I been busy organizing tours for the east coast and Europe in the summer and fall...

that said I have received prob 7 or 8 tracks, def keep them coming!! I'll be keeping my eye on the thread and once a few days have gone by with no new submissions - and also no one in the thread saying they want to jump in, at that point I'll let ya'll know how many tracks we got total and I'll put it together...

It's quite a ways away, that won't be until Sept. and the group I'm going on the road with is going for a Spring run without me. But I know we are looking at UK, Spain, France, Germany, Holland, Denmark and wherever else we can fit in that works with the travel plan. Europe is where its at...ya'll actually have Hip Hop fans there that buy records and shit lol

hey dudes. here's my piece - i had aw sorts of big BIG plans, but this is the best i could pull together. i sent a WAV version of this to Sinapse.

my idea for this piece was to represent montreal by ONLY sampling from other montreal artists. so this piece is built with stuff from:
--patrick watson
--bell orchestre
--le fly pan am
--kid koala
--70s franco rocker mylon
