so im goin to montreal for 2 nights, sleepin in my car or trying to find a hostel. . .who knows all the spots? ima need to find weed, cheap pints, good cheap food, possibly a hostel, cheap prostitues, and of course some records

who can help me out?

the man to talk to is fauna. I been there a few times. If ur feeling adventurous u should climb up Mount Royal and smoke up there whilst watching over the city it's a really dope view from up there.

Theres a couple records stores that were close to each other on "Saint-Denis" (Beatnik is one of them) they got good selections and u can check out the free magizines and stuff for concert listings and what not

Don't know if ur interested but an interesting concept there are these restaurants where they let you bring your own wine to the table. theres a couple of those on saint-denis too pretty close to the record stores actually.

Eat a smoked meat sandwich at Schwartz on Saint-Laurent. That shit was the dopest sandwich I had period. Its prolly gonna be super packed in there and uncomfortable but trust me its worth it

HA, super sex, that place looked so shady, we saw it during the day and walked into the front door and went up the stairs to the main door, and made the decision that it maybe wasn't exactly what we were lookin for.....

as for bringin shit across the boarder, i wouldn't risk it man, its super easy to get weed in montreal, its a major city, just ask around a little, and don't go with just anyone, someone sold us some fake dime bags one time when we were in town, looked like weed, but when you take it out and look at it and smell it you realize its some fake ass bud lookin shit, but we re upped in no time, just use your head and ask around....

and from my experience, its a much bigger hassle getting into canada then comin back to the US, on the way in they've always grilled us (only gone 2 or 3 times though) and we've gotten searched before, claimin they found a roach on the floor of our car when we know we only had a dutch for the ride up the northway that we had ditched hours ago, then when we told em we knew they hadn't found shit, we got outta there, but it was like a 45 min ordeal, and they were grillin us all pretty hard, but on the way back into the states, the guy at the booth made a wise crack about how my friends both were wearing the same sweatshirt and let us through in an instant

For weed, just go to the MT-Royal, around the big statue on Parc Av.
Cheap pints? I guess l'abreuvoir on St-Denis and Ontario isn't bad.
Foufounnes Electric if you like trash but fun clubs. (tuesday is CHEAP ASS BEER and cool music)
Belmont if you like dubstep or electro parties (weds is Bass drive witch is a pretty cool place to go)

im psyched this trip is guna be ill, ima try to hit up as many of these spots as possible, especially the mountain hike which brings me to why i was asking about bringing shit across, was plannin on eatin sum mushies while im there(would love to climb the mountain on em) u think it wud be safe to just bring like an eigth if i lock it in my glovebox or hide it real good or some shit?

But yeah, I know people who have had no trouble getting small amounts of shit across the border, I'm not sure I'd fully recommend it though. Searches and stuff seem to be pretty random so you never know when they're really gonna look or not.

Montreal is an ill spot though, you'll enjoy it, haven't been that way in a year or so, but it's always a good time.
