When I googled questions, I mostly came across Future Producers.
I'm not a member, though.

I'm a member on Future Producers, but mostly just to glaum info. It's alright.

I also check out the Tape Op forum from time-to-time. They've changed it up a bit, but there's usually some good info from 'real' studio cats about the boom bap, but it is not specifically beatmaking.

sampletrak forums. the chat room thing on that site is a little more likely to have people in it. And half the members there are members here too, so there is some SP talk in there.

But I think mpc-forums is the best one. I am a new beat maker and I learned a lot from here.

Oh yeah, mpc-forums get a lot of views which is why I more current there, alot of heads dig the boom-bap. Mpc-forums is like the mean city, but here is like a small town indulging sunshines and everyone experiments.

I like the best of both worlds though, I don't always do Hip Hop joints, sometimes I just take sounds and space out for hours creating a monster that'll never the light of day.

A great board that none of you has mentioned is
www.gearslutz.com

It's not only about gear collecting and the latest devices about to hit the market, but also real technical producer secrets/know how. They even have a hip hop producer section. If you ever had a question that nobody can answer here, try asking it there and you'll probably find the answer.

If you want exposure for your beats rocbattle.com (owned by beat production fat cat Rockwilder) is basically a beat marketplace masquerading as a forum. A lot more posts than other forums simply cause everyone's got their beat sites in their sig I think. That place is a beat hustlin' zoo!

futureproducers.com is the tamer alternative and tends to attract a lot more beginner discussion.

I like warbeats.com personally - everyone seems chill and well-mannered, and people there really tend to respect and know their craft. Another forum that's more
down to earth and civil than the first two I mentioned is beattips2.com. (If you haven't checked out the beat tips manual and you're not already a billboard producer I recommend you invest in that before the next piece of gear on your wish list.)

gearslutz.com is where I go when I've got a technical problem - the people in there know their gear like a little girl knows her barbie dolls.

Haven't spent much time in mpc-forums but it's looks legit.

Just found this place btw - definitely stumbled upon a real treat here for my educational purposes.
Where there is bumpin' music I'm lookin' for my MPC. How to Make Beats in FL Studio (a startin' out tutorial).

vintage synth explorer's forum is cool if you're into synths.. if not, they still got a production knowledge/etc section
Samples.
