BPM quirk

I recently noticed that if i use the bpm/tap button to tap in a bpm it changes not only the current sequence to that bpm but the other sequences as well. also if you're in record mode and you hit the bpm button to a specified beat it will still change the other sequences. it seems like the only way to change the bpm for a sequence without it affecting other sequences is to turn the dial when in record mode. otherwise every time you hit the bpm/tap button you gotta go to the other sequences and change the bpm back to ptn(pattern). just thought this might help some people.

Yeah, the BPM tap tempo button does that, and I never messed with it since I discovered that. I had some work arounds to avoid those complications, but the BPMs return to their normal state. Just forgot how today. I sold my 505 to deckdaddy 2 years ago, so give me time to remember or if a 505 vet can answer this.

looks like the patterns' BPM gets upset quite easily

i THINK (but i could be wrong) it's like this:
--hit play on a sequence and tap tempo, all other seq's change to that BPM, so you can just scroll to the next one and have them match up (in theory)
--hit play on a sequence, and then just scroll to another sequence, and it will automatically change the BPM to the first seq's BPM so (again) they all match up like a playlist.
--hit play on a sequence, then hit stop. change sequence. play new sequence, and it will play in its original BPM (ie: unchanged).

my 505 is completely full, so I haven't used it in a long while, but i think this is right. maybe someone can clarify?

Only tap tempo changes all the other pattern's bpm

Patterns keep their bpms when flipping between them whether you stop and start or not.
