oh! i assumed based on earlier posts that we'd extended the deadline to the end of march. i've been working on something, but thought we had til then to submit, so i haven't been posting on this.

i can do whatever people want - either use the end of march as the deadline, or cancel and pick this idea up down the line. cool with either.

(and thx to sinapse for putting himself out there)

I was kinda buggin when I posted...I was already frustrated about other unrelated situations where shit was dragging ass  , like I said I have a few tracks ready to choose from 8) ...if and when everyone gets their tracks done I'd still be glad to arrange and "master" it

Hey Sinapse, don't get too discouraged. Other beat tapes made here took a while to get together too.

To everyone else: you don't need to make some kind of grand statement with your beat. Remember we're all amateurs & hobbyists here. Not professionals. We're not aiming at releasing something of a commercial standard. As long as your beat's there, its there.

You're all capable of recording good music. How long does it take to make a beat? Not too long. This thread's been up long enough for most of you to at least start a track. Come on, no more excuses. Let's just get this done.

Yes I'm up on my soapbox. Reason why is I'm the only one who's sent Sinapse anything so far.

nah I'm not discouraged, I got a laundry list of other music to deal with so it's not like I'm sitting here stressed out about this

I just moved up to the mountains b/c I didn't want my kids growing up in the city, and therefore I'm spending a lot more (TOO MUCH) time online...which is why I got involved in this tape to begin with. but speak for yourself about being an amateur and a hobbyist...I been on this hustle hard since 2006, sold 500 copies of 2 diff projects the old fashioned way. I don't mean to cop an attitude but that rubbed me the wrong way, just b/c I'm posting on an internet forum doesn't mean I'm pissing around tinkering with a hobby, music is something I take very serious

I ain't even trying to say that I'm a pro, I'm someone who takes a professional approach to their music and is struggling to make any money at all - but that is a separate issue, I'm not going to try to cover up that failure to get where I need to be by saying that I'm a hobbyist and I "just do it for the love"...

back on topic, as I said when I get all the submissions I'll be glad to polish off the volume levels and get the tracks transitioning smoothly and thumping as similar as possible
