I did some reading and I can't find any legitimate confirmation for either, but I do keep finding conflicting posts haha. Some where they claim 85-95% of THC is absorbed in the first second, and then others that say exactly what you said, that 95% of what our lungs can absorb is absorbed in the first second. Some people said they had information from a study supporting my side but I couldn't find any proof that the study was actually done, so that's pretty weak. I think it would depend more on the lungs that are smoking and the amount of smoke that the person tries to inhale, because if its too much for their lungs personally, then it makes perfect sense for there to be leftover THC.

thank you jaylost, i was waiting for someone to tell these turkeys what "contact high" actually means. its pretty simple, and no it's definately not myth, in some rare cases when someone has gotten high (on any drug, DMT or weed are best for this to work on) and they go through a heightened feeling of conciousness, wisdom or intelligence, rarely, but sometimes, certain paths in their brain which the user may never have connected to previously, can link up and open his/her mind to alternate/idealistic possibilities. sometimes it could be something simple like an unorthodox way to open a puzzle or solve a math problem that has never been thought of through most conventional methods. In other cases their mind could open up to more creationary thoughts, like... what god (or entity/force) actually is, or to the intricate patterns juxtaposed in nature and man-made anomalies that seemed so removed from one another before but are now easier to link relativity between now that the user is in a higher state. some pass it off as bullshit because their minds aren't in that state at that particular time, but given the chance if they were high and thinking about these things that would be astonished at the level of connection their mind can make between situations, objects, people and history. Anyway moving back onto topic, "contact high" is when that person who is not high sits next to "the stoned person" and either starts to converse with or mostly just listen to the person who is high. If the "high" person is creative/highly literate it helps the other experience a contact high because the ability to communicate the visions/ideas the user is experiencing is better explained, and in the rare occasion, the explanation or idea will be properly conveyed to the sober person so well that he/she can understand what they mean. The "contact high" is the event at which the sober person feels that same sensation which the actual "high" person is feeling, this will mainly occur when the stories or ideas told to the sober person, unlock the same connections between his/her brain that make them see what the "high" person is seeing, a sense of enlightenment if you will. this would probably only work if the person who is telling the stories makes any sense and also if the sober person isn't just getting over excited. to prove that contac high actually works, you would have to measure the peoples brain patterns when it happens. paaaah what a post, comments please im open to constructive critisism, or even insults, in fact it amuses me sometimes
