any one have it?

im trying to record from the 404 into the comp
so far the sound has been shit using ableton and audacity

would running it out the mixer help?

i used to have one and had trouble with it (mostly cracks and clicks) i'll try to dig out to find it but I think I gave it to someone, I'll check it our for you

I owned one and never had any problems with it. Its very affordable and more than enough for an amateur home studio.

If you experience pops and clicks its either indeed a faulty card, or the problem is with your "power supply". At least in my case, all the problems with pops, hum, etcs were eliminated when I connected my speakers ( well... studio monitors :p ) to one socket in my room, and the pc to another, separate socket. Im not any type of an engineer, and this trick did the job.

I also remember there was a little switch on the bottom of this device, try playing with it, because in certain position it indeed made the whole interface noisy

im running it on an xp and cant record in stereo my cables are right though
