The craziest job I ever had

In 2009, during the so-called economic downturn in the USA , I took a day job at this crappy call center place in New York that was like a bootleg OnStar - we fielded calls from people with car troubles.
The company was lousy and I only worked there for a few months. The place ended up getting shut down, but my friend that worked there managed to get tapes of some of the calls from customers !

I used to dispatch taxis at this one place I worked at. One time I got a call for a lady named (get this) Fern Buttz. Kind of reminds me of that....

I got a guy who comes into my store. His name is James Moorehead.

I used to get some crazy dumb people when I worked for HP customer support too.

I also worked for a trampoline company. Like the giant backyard ones and bounce houses. I heard some funny stories there too. Not a funny story, but a crazy story. My company was going through a recall because of defective trampolines. The welds on the frame would bust loose and the trampoline would collapse. I guess this kid was jumping on one when it did and he impaled himself into one of the frame tubings. He died

FYI: This company is still selling trampolines at Wal-Marts, Sams Clubs and Costcos. Buyer beware!

It always sounds funny in retrospect, but it sucks to have to deal with these types of peeps when you're just trying to make rent !

haha, i used to work at a call center, outbound calls for various tobacco companies, the survey was 30 minutes, defenitly something going on there maybe some sort of voice print technology database, haha i still remember the speel verbatim ,
