exactly, I was actually thinking bout how I used to come home and watch rap city when I typed that up...nowadays you gotta search far and wide to find good Hip Hop, the music just doesn't spread like it used to...it stays in it's region, like this past week I was in FL on vacation and I randomly asked some people if they had heard of various underground Philly artists like Reef The Lost Cauze and they had not...they all listen to Ross and Wayne and think that is what hip hop is, it's pretty sad...but that's why you need cats like Rae to do tracks like this that can reach these boneheads and maybe convert some of them

Yes Yes I miss that shit. I used to wake up early as fuck Saturday mornings to do my paper route so I could come home and catch YoMtVRaps. Best show TV ever had. Honestly when Hip Hop got fucked up for me in my world was when 2pac dropped "All Eyez On Me" Dont get me wrong loved that shit its a classic. But I remember seeing those videos on MTV seeing Pac wearing suits, Biggie started doing that shit everybody started bragging trying to be Mr. Millionaire it fucked me up man. This is coming from a kid whose first tape was Beastie Boys Licensed to Ill, I used to ride my bike with training wheels around in circles on my back patio bumping that shit on my boombox out my bedroom window when I was five. So yeah I grew up on hip-hop. Its all I listened to until my freshman year of high school. Pac fucked up the game by contradicting himself all over records and bragging about all the shit they he has, everyone wanted to be like Pac naturally most hip hop being played became this way. I picked up Smashing Pumpkins Infinite Sadness LP cause I was fed up with hip hop. Best thing I ever did, now I listen to everything and anything that sounds good. So in a way Pac fucking up hip hop in my world opened up my world and saved my life so that is a wonderful thing. I love Pac god rest his soul just my opinion. Sorry for the big run on. I hate Tv dont watch it. Had to be subjected to it the last two weeks. All I heard about was this Beiber kid but never heard any music. He is just a face for the media to paste on the idiot box to distract people from whats really going on in the world. But for real a.D. dropped knowledge about Rae getting on that song to turn kids on to the Wu who wont be BEiber fans in two years cause he is a flash in the pan but for sure will prolly be rocking Wu.
