Some of us don't have facebook accounts. It might be better to put your images on flicker, photobucket or imageshack. Those are all free and don't require a log-in to view.

Thanks :)

My bad. I tried to just paste the images here, but it didn't work. I don't use photobucket, but I might have my studio pix somewhere else, and I can try to paste them here. Does this board restrict posting images?

Use imageshack you do not need an account. To post an image here use the "URL" button on the menu bar above the post section. Paste the complete url link inside the tags that appear after clicking the button. This will embed an image within a post.

Also you can directly upload an image to the forum and it will treat it as an attachment. Personally, the best way is to put them on imageshack so you can still link it to friends or your facebook accout or whatever.

Odd. If I post the photos from my old myspace account, they show up here. The only thing these pix don't have is my electribes, a Moogerfooger, and the samplers I'm getting shortly. I'll have to take some more pix later, because the setup is a little different.

hey you got the an200! how do you use it?personally i don't like all the presets (but it's a good analog synth, i got to take a little more time to tweak things better), but i like very much it's sequencer/controller parts:i use it very much to midi controll other samplers or synths; the "midi reverse" it's the cream! the only awful point:only a 1 bar seq!

Actually it's a DX200, but you were close. I have a buddy who has the an200, but he won't sell it. That's okay, I'm kind of cramped for space, so I think it's time to invest in a new workstation desk so I can setup all my sampers/electribes/dx200.

As far as how I use it, kind of depends. I sometimes slave it to an electribe so I can get 4 measures(which always still feels limiting somehow). Sometimes I make it the master and slave an electribe to it. I'm picking up a Yamaha SU200 which should work like a charm for it, but at the moment, the DX200 is in the pawn shop. (Which is okay, I'm tight for space as it is) Down the road I'd like to get a Rm1x or MPC so I can break through the limited measures. I have the software editor, and it can run on 9.0 on my mac, but I can't figure out how to edit the FM with the thing! I know it's possible to dl DX7 sounds and import them inside, but I'd maybe rather use Native Instrument's FM7 or FM8 to do that, but I'm just too busy to bother right now.

Yeah, but all it takes is money/patience to buy some of the same things you see other producers using. (Especially if you're just starting out). But you can sometimes see a whole studio of gear, and maybe they only use 20% of it at once. It's sometimes how you use what you have, and not what you have but don't use in this game...
