I completely hear you. But I don't believe at all that what happened in Egypt had anything to do with the c.i.a.- espescially w the way it went down and how quickly it happened. Also America-at least the people in power in America-would have nothing to gain. Actually, if Bush was still in office- our troops probably would have been sent in to prevent it. Not that I'm a huge Barrak supporter- theres mad domestic issues such as the criminal justice system, unfair sentencing guidlines, drug laws, segregation and gentrification in our cities,etc...that he hasn't said a single damn word about. I've always hoped he has a more radical agenda than he's able to talk about openly-but at this point, I don't think that's the case. Obviously though he'll still be the best option in the next presidential race, and god knows we can't have a republican president again-and I don't think that'll happen. Even if it does though, it's really the senate that has more say on laws being made-as evidenced by obamas term so far..it's all bullshit though- south park douche vs. turd sandwich.Nothing will truly change signifigantly till the day our government is restructured from the ground up.

As for these homegrown domestic terrorists-don't take it the wrong way-but some that are labeled as such- and a lot that will have this label put on them in the future- will be some of the people that inspire people to take action and help create some of the change we need.Of course I don't advocate the killing of innocent people, shit like that- but shit, we STILL have prison war camps filled with innocent people labeled as terrorists. And one of Obamas first fucking promises was to free all these innocent people.Guantanamo Bay hasn't even been shut down yet.But remember, I'm still talking like 30-50 years from now, when the young kids coming up now are the ones in power and the conservative right wing will be nothing more than a very small mintority. As will democrat puppets like Barrak Obama.

;) That's what I was referring to as well.. some of the stuff they got law enforcement looking out for is just ridiculously oppressive

word, i was going to post something like 'how about them egyptians'... now if only we can all learn to walk like them :D

i think the reason most western so-called liberal pundits are not too excited about it, is they fear a similar opposition to the stuff they're affiliated with, at home

^^^This is dope, had been virtually erased from my memory until now. I found an interesting poem in the comments too:

Apocalypse Angel Faces Appeared On The Wall As Something To Open That Look Better Than Any Man Could Imagine To Draw Former President George Walker Bush In The Form Of Kinetic Energy Zap Jonathan Spellman Out Of A Street Light Pole Giving Him Telepathic Abilities Celebrity Women Spirits Flew Through Tv. By Mental&Hands Teaching Spiritual Communication Making A JiNN-GoD Who Caught Satan In Gates (Bill Gates) And Knock Down The ILLuminati End Of Material World 3rd Cycle Begins Spiritual World

I've done no real research on the net about the Egyptian uprising beyond what's been reported by various news outlets, dope to see some poeple outside of Egypt see it in somewhat of a simmilar light as myself..I think this is a take on an Allen Ginsberg poem, just reworded..not sure though.

Also saw this comment-- Almost as good as "Captain Rock"!! lol

Anybody seen the lastest "real time" w/bill maher? Really great one, just watched it a little while ago-they talk a lot about Egypt, amongst other things-- and Cornell West is one of the panel guests. If you're not aware of Cornell West-the man is a genius,(literally has a genius i.q.) and was brilliant on this show...every single word he said was completely on point. If you have access to hbo or on demand, gotta check this out.

^ there was a cool documentary from last year (if you're somewhat into philosophy) with Cornel West, called "Examined Life", check that out if you can. Cornel West was by far the most inspiring in it.

Haven't logged in almost all week-been crazy busy with packing/moving,etc..not trying to revive an "old" thread- but I just now caught the last post-not positive if that was an "I agree w you" shiiiiiiiiiitttt...or a "you're crazy" shiiiiiiiiitttt....,or someone just taking the time to point out how much I use the word shit-but regardless that part of my post was mainly about Obama- here's a quick clip from when he came into office promising to close Guantanamo in his first year- sure I could find dozens of other clips w his empty promises- including ones related to the new budget plan released this week, which once again, makes a timid proposal- that will end up not taking place -to raise taxes, slightly, on the rich & 10% of americans that own 90% of america's wealth. But promises to make large cuts on help for the poor, cuts on pell grants and other aspects of education,etc...BUT- we DO get billions and billions....and more billions(not sure of the exact number of the increase but it's something crazy ridiculous like 30-50, i think) added to the defense/millitary budget!! Obama is now an honorary republican.

This was an interesting week though- Egypt has sparked attempted revolutions all over the middle east..sadly though Khadaffi has had at least a couple hundred people killed in Libya already-- Still hasn't seemed to deter the people, though- things are getting crazy- the majority of these "governments" have been basically supported, or just ignored, by the u.s. for decades and decades mainly for monetary reasons--if real change happens all over the middle east, things are gonna change for us and the rest of the world drastically- which isn't gonna be a good look for your average upper-middle classers and the rich...

Meanwhile, a bunch of people in Wisconsin held up picket signs while simultaneously chanting AND tweeting to hopefully avoid having to do without s.u.v.'s, laptops, & flatsscreen t.v.'s. (naw-it's honestly some fucked shit happening in Wisconsin...but still-when you put it in perspective w the middle east....)

shiiiiiiiiiiiittttt!
