Disscussion for SP- Forums Beat Tape FIVE

Alright fellas, lets start disscusing about the next beat tape.

The current theme is cities. Write a song influenced by your city, your favorite city, any city, whatever.
Other theme ideas are welcome.

Equipment: ???
Other equipment can be used but lets keep the sp the main piece of equipment.

We also need an album title and artwork (but this can be created when we decide on the final theme).

I can contribute...

I am back and forth from the Poconos to Philly but I would center my track round the Illadel...this is a good loose theme, when you try to get too fancy/clever with themes things can fall apart - just make it be real dope, that's most important.

I don't think it should be 404 only, maybe you didn't mean that but there are so many great non 404 producers on here

As far as mixing, poor mans mastering and arranging that is also something I would be down to do...let me know peeps

glad the cities theme took off! have some ideas awready for MTL.

i like Wax throwing out a deadline - but is that 05/03 the 3rd of May, or the 5th of March? either way is cool for me, but we should make it clear.

sp-focused is usually the theme in the tapes...use other gear, but mos def make the SP a main ingredient in yr creative stew.

March 5th is a good deadline, lil ambitious if we wanna get max participation but it's better to set lofty goals I suppose lol

dope idea for the cover would be to spell out each artist in the form of a building.. and create a skyline. The name could also shape a famous building from their city if possible.
