yo ChicagoSP - straight up, you aren't getting enough props for this beat tape! Been playin it daily since I discovered it here and its fantastic to say the least. So many bangers... I'd have to say my fav parts are the intro/first beat, and one mid-way through with the "rollin down the street" sample.. so fresh. Can't wait for more heat, keep doin your thing homie, much respect

I was about to release 2 beat tapes at the same time, wen I heard your overgrowth album...whole thing was so amazing, lyrics and beats, and knowing that it was all on a Sp-505... I ended up Starting over and creating all new material using more Sp then Mpc...ended up with this...thanks man

No real order ...if I wanna chop alot of different samples then mpc...if I wanna loop the sample then the Sp. But I use the Sp like a 4 track recorder... Mixing, fx, and tying patterns together.

So you compose the samples into loops on the mpc and then sample them into the sp to get that"raw "sound?
interesting...
I dig your mixtapes a lot! great sound and great mood! :D
