It's about time the forum unites and made another tape. now, i'm not putting myself forward to organise it becasue i only have a dial up conncetion at home (and i can jus about manage myself) but if someone else wants to take charge that would be great. There are alot of new members here along with the og's, so would be dope to get errrrrr body involved. Drop your thoughts....

Maybe do a winter/summer theme since those are those seasons we're going through. I know in Australia they are going through a heat wave right now, while most of the US is getting ready for one of the biggest snow storms in history.

Maybe call it Cold Sun or Winter Heat... I dunno

Another thing might be to go for a SP timeline album. Where people submit only 202 beats followed by 303, 404 etc etc. And each title would need to include an indicator of which machine was used.
We could do the cover like that, but with SPs in their hands

I could do a quick photoshop of this if anybody might be interested just for a wallpaper even.

i like winter heat/cold sun, we had our coldest winter here this year for years. machine specific is a nice idea, more for the geeks haha. now we just need a deadline.... beats to Zomb by the 31st March, too early??

I like Cold Sun, Winter Heat. People could write a song displaying which they are experiencing. Like dark and moody for those in the cold, and upbeat and erratic for those in the heat (or something like that).

As for the March 31 deadline, it may be to soon but we will see. Lets wait for more ideas and participants before we decide a deadline.

This will be my first tape submission, can't wait!!

i thinkng a 2part beat will be in order. going to sample plenty of Jon Snow from channel 4 news, "this is Jon Snow on the snow". haha love it.

I'm down for this! I think the seasons theme is easier to handle but I'd go with any theme in the end.
