Sustaining samples?

Whatsup guys,

I've noticed that some of my pads will play the entire sample even if I just quickly tap the pad, while others will only play while the pad is held down. Why is this, and how can I make samples that play the entire sample by just tapping on the pad?

press the gate button to turn on and off, is that what you mean?
