Here's something quick and raw:
http://boomboxing.tku10.net/loudus/mp3/forum-quickie.mp3
I'm not very happy with it. Recorded ca 15 minutes of live stuff about a week ago and it sounded kinda nice and different at times since I got carried away playing with different effects. If the rules allowed me to cut out the best parts of that and combine them into one - I would have won - but now here's this.

that's really good. I love it. Man, would you by any chance share the backup of that track with us?
Cool... Glad someone's finally thrown something down! (nice melodies and synth btw)
I'm assuming the lack of entries is either cos peeps have been working hard on their beats or cos no-one is feeling the sample (my bad!)
I finished mine yesterday but just have to bounce it off, then I'll upload to soundclick.

tonight i found myself with a few hours spare, so i rolled up a spliff and decided to have a stab at this:

this is not so much a sequenced beat as a live jam. i used some percussive loops as Patterns, then triggered other samples for the filter-sweeps. the levels aren't too good, and the timing is worse; but i had a wicked time slicing this up then jamming with it
i really liked the sample song, Holmes. i have a James Holden cd a friend burnt me years ago that still gets played. his style is very dreamy

well, i hope u like it! to be honest this is the first time i've used audicity(with mic in on lap top); so please give me a heads up about the volume. i really want to sequence hard beats but i havn't got the hang of it yet. this is my jedi timing practice.

by the way after u load it wait a few seconds and rewind to the beginning; for some reason it won't load good at first for me and my connection is kinda fast.
It won't load fast because you saved as wave! Wave is a high quality audio format that uses a lot of space. So wav files are big.
When you use audacity try to save as mp3 using this file:
http://lame.buanzo.com.ar/
To save as mp3, simply go to file>export>select mp3 and it will ask for the codec file. Select it and voila!
