The whole machine looks very interesting. I wonder how the sampler section gonna look like.

I heard some dope synth sounds in this demo, but for that price I'd rather think about some used little phatty.

ORDRRD!

Been saving for this one. The sampler is either really cool or kind of a useless toy, I can't tell yet. The synth engine looks pretty ill and the "sequencer" (or tape or whatever) is really interesting to me. Considering I've been stoked to see this thing for the last two YEARS, 2 more months to actually get my hands on it isn't that bad.

Code: Select all

Interviewer:"it really happens this time?"
Teenage engeneering: "yeas, i mean..."
I.: "so, what's new?"
T.E.:"...well, ...it works..."
I."ok, good point"
this little evil synth sound cool to my ears (so this is not a good point :) ).
what do you think about the sound?
i remeber the sampler they sorted out was not bad...

well, its 8 weeks until delivery so I will have to wait until I get mine. From the videos I think the synth is really, really cool. Word on street is that it can indeed pump out some mean, powerfull basses. Personally I love the digital and the clustersynth. The sampler seems to be very cool too. for me it looks like a cool bare bones mpc with cool effects, a synth that can run on battery for 20 hours + in built speaker. what more can you ask for? also the display seems beautiful.
I am a little afraid that my sp303 might collect dust from the point of delivery....

My impression is that everything on it is maximum ill, minus the sampling. So I think SP + OP-1 will be a winning combo.

Crappy quality vid but some of the synth sounds in it are rrraw:

that's crazy!
you can sample from built in radio (???what a radio do in a synth? that's crazy yet in itself...); i remeber thart someone (formal) told me that i can send mp3 someway from mp3 reader to my stereo car (wich doesn't read mp3) via the internal radio, so i was wondering that this synth could do the same (and so sample mp3 sounds)...but maybe there is no way to edit samples inside it?
