resample with fx and preserve sample length

Hi,

So i've got a perfect loop in recognised by the unit at 130bpm. Am I missing a way to resample it with say distortion whilst preserving the sample length? It seems to be dependant on when I stop sampling, meaning i need to reset the end point.
