That's crazy,lol I was just gonna post a link to Stik Figa's new album "From the Top" (Topeka, Ks.) yesterday..we're old friends/aquaintences out of the k.c./lawrence hip hop scene-- first saw him spit in 04-05 or so when he was like 19-20 or so-he wasn't incredible, but he kept at it and became in my eyes the illest of anyone back home.. it was so dope to see him get signed by Oddisee's label and have an entire ep produced by Oddisee- the whole diamond disrict/ low budget crew/affiliates is some of my favorite shit out right now.Really proud of him. We were both on the album "Chain Smoke" produced by Johnny Quest in 08- I found the link the other day, now I can't-but it's out there, worth checking out.
Anyway, these remixes definitely give a new sound to the songs, nice stuff.Some really dope beats on this. I definitely reccomend checking out the original Stik Figa album to anybody as well- Oddisee is one of the dopest right now, and of course stik is killing it with the lyrics.Pretty sure all the songs from the ep are on you tube.How'd you obtain the acapellas for this? Just curious.Peace.

^^ Thats real dope! and the original is dope! When I saw the acapellas I knew I was going to flip something.. I got it off of Kevin Nottinghams site when it first dropped.. I think the first 1,000 downloads were free then there was a fee.. I got the whole ep, instrumentals and acapellas from oddisee's bandcamp page..
