you usin that just to reference a dope point in cam's history?? or does he reference the american dream line in this freestyle?? can't check it cause of slow dial up, but as long as we're backin cam, there were a few tracks off of that children of the corn cd that were real tight, a star is born bein one of them

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uo7kHUMTPyQ

and that dude mcgruff had the most serious lisp, always would catch it whenever he had a verse

cam still gets a pass from me cause he was so dope in the late 90s, and his ridiculous hood shit is kinda entertaining, anybody ever seen that super low budget movie he made that was like an autobiography of him comin up from high school in harlem, i think it was called killa season.....its so ridiculous, almost on par with trapped in the closet or somethin........his solo albums were never phenomenal though, and he definitely was fallin off after killa season and purple haze, some might even think he was clownin before that, but he was dope in the late 90s with big l and children of the corn for sure

Dope in the 90's no doubt--but I gotta say my personal favorite joint involving Cam-whether considered commercial or not- is "Oh Boy"--you just can't front on that song, the way Blaze flipped the beat, the concept, the verses--joints like these finally brought some real hip hop and real hip hop crate digging production back to radio after it nearly completely died out commercially the mid 90's...Not to mention some of the flyest gear in a video since Grand Puba 360 degrees,lol..oh boy!
