So along with working on my upcoming beat tape, I'm also recording rhymes for my mixtape/production album "Versus". It's gonna be a mix of my beats, stuff from the 90's, and a few more recent beats from Seattle artists, since I recently moved out here. I recorded this today to Rakaa Irisciense' "Ends to Means", produced by Sea City's Jake One. '06 I think? Anyway, give a listen if you get a minute.It sounds slightly rougher than I'd like, but I'm still learning this recorder. And just to put it out there- if anyone would like to continue to pass judgement on me or my character, let this be your starting point. Peace to all the real,thanks...1

Thanks Ella- Yea it's me rhyming- I'm really more of an m.c. than a beat maker. My mic's listed in my sig- it's a pretty good mic imo,on the lower end of higher end condenssors. But I'm far from an audiophile and don't know much about eq'ing vocals. In the past i've always had other people record me. I used the low-end cut at least. I purposely tried to get some parts to clip though, kinda biting Rza's old techniques. I also can't figure out how to adjust delay on the boss, and I think I accidentally bounced the beat to mono,lol. But yea, the feed means a lot man, thank you.

Thanks Kel-- naw, that's a Jake One beat he did for Rakka of Dilated- either '03 or '06, can't remember which, the song is "Ends to Means".Part of this release will be using 3-4 beats from Seattles most prominent producers.I might have to re-do this with a better version of the instrumental though, it's missing a lot of low end. I also wanna add a little delay to the vocal, maybe redo it completely, theres a few spots where I'm a little too ahead of the snare, rushing the delivery a bit. Appreciate it a lot man.
