So, what cartoons are you guys into? Currently I'm watching Dragonball Kai, Naruto and One Piece. When I went to Mexico this year, I would watch Cartoon Network every once in a while and they were always showing one of the Ben 10 series' and I got hooked. I watch it online now haha. I just made some Rice Krispie squares and hot chocolate and am about to have a mini marathon right now. Some older shows that I like are Space Pirate Captain Harlock and all the other Dragonball series. Oh obviously Gundam as well but not all of the off shoots. It's so confusing now. There are more that I can't bring to memory at the moment but those are the ones I have been checking for lately. What about you?

Old-school! Superfriends.. G-force (classic!)..and the scoobie doo episode with Batman & Robin. Nowadays really though it's pretty much South Park,a little Adult Swim-- and Dora the Explorer with my 8 year old,lol- & the new Scoobie Doo's with the rest of the kids. There's some really dope Marvel animated movies on dvd I've checked out the last couple years too. Cartoons/comic books will always have a big place in my heart, as a really young kid I dreamed to be a cartoonist.

Damn zomb, you are young. I liked all those shows too, when I was in college.
I think we should start a topic with favorite qoutes from ren and stimpy;
Like "hold tightly to my buttocks" or "whatever you do don't press that button"

G-Force was my ship back in the day. Do you know they had to *censor* that show for American TV- the robot 7Sark7 was explicit according to US censors (USA is very uptight & conservative unless you're on the coasts) STILL IS !!!

MASK was hot too- even though it was just an extended commercial for the toys.
LOL when the dudes got called at their job- they dropped whatever they were doing & got Masked up.

For faves tho I've got to turn off the TV & take it back to 3 framer "comics"

me and a buddy of mine have entire conversations consisting solely of ren and stimpy quotes. yes im a shithead.

of all the quotes i either have to go with the episodes 'space madness' and 'stimpys fan club' as my personal favorite treasure troves

"just one quick TWIST! and it's over..."

CLING TIGHT TO MY BUTTOCKS!!! POWDER TOAST MAAAAAAAAN!!!
thats my favorite show. I think i became an animator because of that show. And most cartoons follow the ren and stimpy format which is really funny, nickelodeon kept it flowing through the ages in different shows. I remember that shit would come on nickelodeon at like 9:30 right before are you afraid of the dark and i had to sneak downstairs to watch it. My shit was beavis and butthead, tho most might think it was dum, from a animators perspective, you have to realize that beyond beavis and butthead, mike judge created a world of hicks that was pretty close to the real thing with their comments and personalities. Then he threw in beavis and butthead and made it classic. There was no other cartoon that your parents would woop your ass for watchin back then. I almost got kicked out of school for impersonating beavis all the time. Now that im older and followed mike judges work with "office space" you can see that he is really good at portraying dry individuals personalities. Good shit.

I hardly watch cartoons anymore cause i dont have cable, that shit rots the brain for real with all these bullshit reality shows n shit. JWM for the history channel is actually coming to my company "DAVISON" to shoot a pilot for a reality show. So i might be on TV guy. I work in this willy wonka land run by and evil ceo who owns this invention company in pittsburgh, dont believe me, look it up. INVENTIONLAND!!!
sorry for going off topic, its 6am and i just got to work, what else am i gonna do, work? sheeat!

I dig the old 1940's cartoons, the animation is just so slick and it was all done with pen and paper. Looney Toons and Merry Melodies and especially the original Disney films. The first Tom & Jerry episodes were real dope and the 5min shorts in between were done very well, God I love Technicolor cartoons.

I even dig Dragonball but the first season, couldn't get into it after the first World Tournament. Akira and Fist of the NorthStar also get my views.
