I like to use ass cheeks as drums and play along to some of my favourite Rick James tunes.

yeah, i sometimes do it too. i imagine some pads with kick, snare and hats (even when there are none =]) and try to figure out how to bang out a beat of a specific song. after a while, when i know how to play that pattern i start improvising on it little by little (add some hits here and there and so on). too bad i can't keep in time all the time =]

When I first got my sp, to get my fingers used to drumming commands, I would hook my ipod into the mic input, hit ext source and play along with a kit I made off of Synthetic Substitution. I don't know if it sounds dumb It really helped me fine tune my reflexes and learn my way around it though.

Haha yeah man. I do that all the time. Sometimes I imagine pads on a table with kick hat snare etc. and tap it out. Sometimes I play the piano on the table. Sometimes I play the sax. lol.

Air guitar 2k10!

S'good practice, I do it all the time. Sometimes if I'm really feeling a song/am blunted I'll rewind, load up some drums and try to make sure I'm in time with the song.

there's an interesting tip for those who sometimes play "drums" with fingers on the table, not just pressing imaginary pads silently, but banging the table with sound. so if u take two fingers like scissors and put one finger on the table and one beneath and swing your arm up and down fast u can get a pretty good drum roll (even better when done with both arms)

^^what a pig , but I don't know who is worse. Him doing that to her in a room full of people or her taking it with no reaction.
